Where can I read back the email?

We have big news we’d like to share with you: as of September 1, ProFit Gym is taking over from Avalon Fitcentre! You may have already seen it on the posters and banners in the club, but through this email we’d like to update you personally. We are excited to welcome you as a new member.

What does this mean for you?

First of all, your membership will continue as usual. You will continue to exercise at your familiar location with familiar faces around you.

What does change is the name and the experience that comes with it. ProFit Gym stands for all-in fitness where you as a member benefit from a lot of service. And the best part? You won’t pay any more than you do now! The only change is that the payment date will move to the 23rd of each month and will now be collected under the name ProFit Gym.

Other than that, you can enjoy:

  • Extended opening hours
  • Brand-new equipment and machines
  • More group classes
  • Our all-in service with the ProFit Gym app
  • And much more…

We would like to inform you about a few current updates regarding your membership and our gyms.

Double debit?

No, there is no double debit. The debit date for ProFit Gym falls a few days before Avalon’s (which always took place on the first of the month). Because of this, two withdrawals occur in August, which may give the impression of a double charge. In reality, the second withdrawal is an advance payment for the month of September. You can also see this reflected in the description of the debit.

Logging into the app

To activate the app, you will need your membership card number, along with your first name. With this, you can easily access your personal environment.

Club updates

In the coming weeks, we will start renewing the club. This means that many new pieces of equipment will be installed and old ones removed. We will also replace the flooring, install a new reception desk, and refresh the painting throughout the club. This may cause some temporary inconvenience, but in the end, we will have a beautiful, fully renovated club.

Will my favorite classes and coaches remain?

Yes! The familiar faces remain. We’ll make sure you notice as little as possible of the takeover. You will also have access to even more group classes and training options:

  • More service through the ProFit Gym members app
  • Wider opening hours
  • Unlimited fitness appointments with your fitness trainer
  • A new workout schedule every 4 to 6 weeks
  • Expansion and renewal of fitness equipment from Hammer Strength and Life Fitness
  • More group training offerings
Does the team remain the same?

The familiar faces in the club will remain. They will only wear a shirt with a different logo from now on.

Do I need to take any steps myself?

No! All you have to do is keep exercising.

It’s just convenient to download our app.

What will change in my membership?

Basically nothing. Your subscription from Avalon will be transferred 1-to-1 to ProFit Gym. The only thing that changes is the collection moment: this will be moved from the 1st of the month to the 23rd. Direct debits will be made prior to the month.

Will the Avalon locations be renovated?

Yes, but you can keep working out as usual! Soon, you’ll be able to enjoy even more new Life Fitness and Hammer Strength equipment to make your workouts even more effective. We’re giving the clubs a great update, so as a member, you’ll really benefit. The gyms will not be closing!

Will I be paying more?

No. Your current membership from Avalon will be transferred to ProFit Gym. However, you do have the option to switch to one of our memberships, which could save you money each month!

I have a season membership, what will happen to it?

Your season membership will be transferred 1-to-1 to ProFit Gym. So nothing will change!

I have an off-peak membership, what happens to it?

Your off-peak membership will be transferred 1-to-1 to ProFit Gym. Nothing will change!

I have a student membership, what will happen to it?

Your student membership will be transferred 1-to-1 to ProFit Gym. So nothing will change!

What are the opening hours?

Opening hours will be extended starting September 1!
Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Will the offered services remain the same?

The offerings by club will most likely be expanded and you won’t be paying more! As an Avalon member, you can enjoy ProFit Gym’s all-in service offerings, extensive group exercise classes and personalized approach.

How to get in contact?

If the answer to your question is not listed, please use the contactform. In addition, you are always welcome to stop by the club!

From when will it be fully taken over?

As of September 1, 2025, the transfer is final. You can always contact us with questions. You can do this easily via the contactform.

Will I have to download a new app soon?

Yes. ProFit Gym has its own extensive member app. With it, you can schedule your workouts and group classes, we help you stay consistent, track your progress, and easily book coaching appointments.
